Audi revealed the new version named, Audi TT RS has a bit of an identity crisis. The car is so cute with a turbocharged five-cylinder and a real six-speed manual. Sports cars should have three pedals and a stick in the world and the fact that there’s no S tronic available here is enough to help the TTS graduate from Hot Chick Car to the Real Sports Car TT RS.
2012 Audi TT RS packs a serious punch of 360 hp from a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline five. It’s good for a 0-60 mph time of just 4.6 seconds and, from our experience, sounds amazing for each of those 46 tenths. Pricing and option groups have yet to be determined and while the car is a sure thing, it won’t be hitting dealers until the third quarter of next year and only the coupe will be imported.
