RK Camry Toyota Camry Coupe V8 NASCAR Edition Photos, Specifications, Reviews

Toyota was bringing a two-door Camry to the SEMA Show this year. An everyday sedan isn’t really what we would call a tuning marvel. Then we saw the photos for the new RK Collection Camry NASCAR Edition and were a little surprised to see a car with a little more spunk than what we’re used to seeing on this boring little ride. The Camry NASCAR Edition was built as a model that could show Toyota Racing Development the potential for the vehicle.

Toyota Camry Coupe V8 NASCAR Edition is powered by a TRD NASCAR V8 engine
which measures 358 cubic inches and delivers a blistering 680 horsepower at 8500 rpm. The engine is mated to a Tremic T-56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission with a Ram dual-disc street clutch.

The exterior shell of the vehicle is a RKC custom made Camry two-door body sheet metal. RKC used the body as a canvas and installed several race car features including a custom body kit, Toyota grill, carbon fiber brake ducts with fog lights and TRD emblems. The car sits on TSW Jarama wheels that measure 20 x 8.5 inches in the front and 20 x 10 in the rear and fitted with 245/35/20 Michelin Pilot tires in the front and 285/20/30 in the rear. is a RKC custom made 2010 Camry two-door body sheet metal. The all new Toyota Camry NASCAR Edition was developed by RK Collection (RKC) in cooperation with the Japanese firm’s in-house Toyota Racing Development (TRD) division. The goal was to create a high-performance but completely street legal Camry with a NASCAR engine to demonstrate the connection between Toyota’s production vehicles and its NASCAR program.
