Mazda introduced the latest of Mazda RX-8 in the year 2011. The 2011 Mazda RX-8 has impressive handling dynamics and a roomy backseat, but loses points for its lack of low-end torque and fuel-thirsty, high-maintenance rotary engine. The car is tiny roadsters, not-so-sporty sports cars and is a breath of fresh air. Distinguishing itself with a one-of-a-kind suicide door design, roomy backseat and impressive handling.

The 2011 RX-8 is a 4-door, 4-passenger sports car, available in 3 trims, both trims are equipped with a standard 1.3-liter, R2, 232-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard.  The Mazda RX-8 also comes with the new aerodynamic package. For performance the car use2,616 cc 2.6 liters rotary 2 front engine with 0 mm bore, 0 mm stroke, 10 compression ratio, none and zero valves per cylinder RENESIS, this car have fuel economy 24 mpg for highway and 18 mpg for city with  Multi-point injection fuel system , providing a top speed of 234 km/h.

The 2011 RX-8 has some safety features means the safety process incorporates both accident avoidance and accident protection. This approach to safety means the RX-8 can help the driver avoid various dangers and protect occupants in the unfortunate event of a collision. In rollover tests performed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the RX-8 achieved an impressive five-star rating. Mazda engineers integrated numerous active and passive safety elements throughout the car. Active safety features, which require input from the driver, include the use of large ABS-equipped disc brakes on all wheels as well as precise steering and suspension systems. Dynamic Stability Control with TCS delivers a superior level of handling that can be disabled when driving and road conditions allow safe operation.

The all new  Mazda RX-9 has been rumoured for some time, and dropping the RX-8 and replacing it with the RX-7 and RX-9 does, in our opinion, make far more sense. A £20,000 RX-7 with 250bhp and a new range-topping RX-9 with 350bhp and a price tag around £35,000 – together with the evergreen Mazda MX-5 – would give Mazda a strong sports car range.
