Lancia Stratos has been built by Pininfarina to fulfill the desire of Michael Stoschek, as owner and CEO of German automotive supplier Brose KG. The modern Lancia Stratos is built around the chassis of a donor Ferrari F430 Scuderia and was designed and built by Italian design house and coachbuilder Pininfarina.

The new Stratos rides on 19-inch wheels, shod in Dunlop Sport Maxx tires, and uses high performance Brembo ceramic brakes. There are no detailed technical specifications on the engine yet, but the 4.3-liter V8 has received a new control unit and exhaust system. The interior is entirely built using aluminum and carbon fiber, with the racecar-sourced steering wheel taking center stage. It has paddle shifters attached to it, which control the 6-speed transmission capable of shifting gears in less than 60 milliseconds.

The all new Lancia Stratos Rally which had ruled in 1970 has attracted attention with a hatchet. Cars with limited production, about 492 units between 1972 and 1974, this became a dream for collectors to own it. Now the car has been developed and designed to be more modern. The project began production in 2008, with Pininfarina who reconstruct it so that the output of new cars are called Pininfarina Lancia Stratos
