Swedish company Saab present their electric variant of its 9-3 Break, called ePower. It is also disclose other new engines less spenders, also show is interesting variant. These are the first electric vehicle from Saab motors.

Features:
New ePower has powered by a 135 kW/184 hp electric motor driving the front wheels through a single-speed transmission. The motor is backed by powerful 35.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is accommodated in a modified floor-pan, in the same space that a regular 9-3 houses the exhaust system and fuel tanks. Saab claims zero to 100 km/h acceleration in just 8.5 seconds, and top speed of 150 km/h. Saab 9-3 ePower’s projected driving range of approximately 200 kilometers.

In inside, the cabin is hardly any difference in the layout with its conventional model. Also the transmission lever position has not changed, only now there are choices drive, neutral, park and reverse. The instrument panel has also changed, which now contains instructions battery energy status, energy consumption, and the distance. Electro-hydraulic power steering is used and the cabin is equipped with full air- conditioning, via a compressor powered by the battery pack. A separate 12-volt battery, for the lights and cabin ancillaries, is also charged from the battery pack via a current transformer.
