The 2011 Saab 9-5 Sport Combi will be unveiled in the Geneva Motor Show. This is a new variant car of the sport Combi wagon version. There have been new improvements with the extension of the wheel base and the rear hatch back. However, this car takes the look of a sedan. The car will be built at the Trollhattan in Sweden which is the home plant for Saab.

You get a choice of 3 models- one being a model that delivers 160 hp being 2.0 liter 4 cylinder turbo diesel. Then comes the turbo charged gasoline model which is 4 cylindered and delivers a 220 hp and there is the V6 gasoline turbo model with a 2.8 liter of turbo and delivering 300 hp. However, a model delivering 180 hp and having 1.6 liter gasoline turbo is set to be introduced along with a 2.0 liter Bio power E85 model.

The US market will only receive the gasoline version of the new Saab. The price is expected to be close to $50000. The car is comparatively large having wide rear bumper bars and long rear quarter pads thus delivering better cargo space. The International market will get to see this car in 2011. However, Australia will get to see this car only in the year 2012. The wagon segment will surely be proud to welcome this wagon which assures you fun, and the sleek design adds class to the 9-5 Sedan.

The car boasts of Saab’s wrap around window grazing which is the company’s signature style. This makes the wagon a class apart and creates an appeal about the car. You also get a sealed wet storage, a powered tail gate and a multi fold floor which is adaptable. This car also has advanced wheel control and cruise control. All these features add up to the car’s look and feel.
