Lancia will present to the world the super-mini at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011. The 25th anniversary of the car model with this new launch will no doubt be exciting.

The newly designed interiors give ample option for customization. With 600 customization possibilities customers will have to rack their brains for the correct combination. Two toned colouring for some of them lands the company to give an offer of 17shades. The upholstery has about 6 varieties and the wheels will give the customer a choice too. The wheels have 3 options to offer and that is what makes the manufacturer think differently. The 2,390mm long wheelbase which can comfortably seat five people carries one of the most spacious boots and the passenger space is what gives the Italian car maker a grand image. This premium Lancia car made for the city measures 3,840 m in length and 1,670 mm in width.

The engine with a multi-jet 1.3liter producing 95HP is one of the options available. A 69HP producing a dual fuel petrol and LPG of 1.2liter is also there. The 2012 Lancia Ypsilon has two more engines one with a 0.9 litre two cylinder petrol which is turbocharged with 85HP or a 1.2 litre petrol unit with 69HP powered engine. In all the four varieties will also spoil the customers for a choice. Goodyear has developed some of the low rolling resistance tires and some customers can get the Start & Stop system of the petrol and diesel engines.

This model gives the look of a three-door car where as the rear door which is present is hidden. The Lancia’s grille is designed in a way that it gives the Chrysler’s version a competition. The car makers had started the history of Ypsilon from the year 1985 and the successful launching after 25yrs of the new model is what has raised the inquisitiveness of the car lover.
