The racer edition of Porsche which was unveiled in 2011 is one of the most successful GT racers which made its international premier at Weissach. This sports car is one of the upgraded 911 GT3 RSR from Porsche which was seen in the “Night of Champions” party, held in R&D Centre, which marked the end of 2010 sports season and the beginning of the 2011 sports season.

Porsche has officially released the spectacular photos of the sports car as well as the details regarding the new racer car. The 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR will join along with GT3 R in 911 GT3 Chamionship, which will compete in 2011 GT racing. This car has many new features, along with aerodynamics, potential on the track, enhanced power along with a four litre revised power engine, which is of six cylinders and is aligned with a six speed gearbox. The engine of this sports car can turn out 455hp and 450Nm of torque.

The power equation of this car is such that it puts the Porsche 911 GT2 RSR five hp more than the GT3 group. On the other hand it is 25hp less than GT3 R. The increase in power is due to the increase in engine management, along with an exhaust system which has been entirely redesigned. In fact the air intake has also been modified. The brakes of the racer car are of six pieces six pistons and are fixed with aluminium callipers and are found in front portion of the car. At the rear on the other hand, it is a single piece callipers which is of four pistons.

The body of the car is made up of galvanized steel with an upgraded front lip, wheels wider in the front, a rear lid which is redesigned along with a lid and a rear wing which is also modified. Some of the features have been borrowed from GT3 R edition while the lights of the car have been designed according to the latest edition of 911. The price of the car is around $ 550, 000 and if you wish the order for the car can be placed directly at the factory.
