The Vauxhall VXR8 is recently launched in the Australian car market. The V8 super saloon is made on the concept of the HSV-E3 GTS vehicle model. The rear wheel drive based car is not only aesthetically enhanced, but also feature new technologies installed that makes it a desirable toy for all the grown ups. The rear and front facia have been completely remodelled to deliver that stunning look. The new cabin interiors are also exciting.

The “Shockwave” styled grille in the front facia and the “Super flow” spoiler on the rear are great style statement. The LED lights and the twin exhaust tips are great style statement too. The chassis of the car employs McPherson struts. The progressive rate coil spring is employed in the front while the rear uses multi link independent setup.

The technical high light of the car feature is the technology that is used in the GM Corvette ZR1 super-car. The MRC functions by transmitting electric pulses through the damper unit, which is cramped with magnetic particles that are usually soft. The hardness of the material increases as the current is increased. This new technology equips the driver with greater handling and never before seen braking efficiency.

The Vauxhall VXR8 comes fitted with a 4th generation LS3 engine of six point two litre capacity. The powerful engine delivers a massive 431 PS and 550 Newton-metre. The super saloon can reach a velocity of 60 mph from static, within a flat 4.9 seconds. It can attain a maximum speed of 155 mph. The super car employs state of the art 6 speed auto or manual transmission systems. Enhanced Driver Interface or the EDI is the standard feature of the car. The EDI works closely with the computer on board the car and monitor and displays the car performance on the 5 inch touch screen monitor at the console. All in all, it is a stunning car, developed to thrill.
