The guilty pleasure of a man lies on the kind of car he owns. His dreams can be fulfilled and he can become the ultimate trend setter with the all new Tesla Roadster. It is the first modern electric sports car that stands as an icon despite sales of fewer than 2,500 units to date. Offering the speed fiend an alternative to gasoline, the Roadster is quick, stylish, and truly green. The stunning look of the car can easily attract and charm you to make it your own. However the exterior of the car has been redesigned and given a much better look. The open roof system of the car is a literal eye catcher and can even make your drive fun and frolic. Those who prefer going out for long drives with a good speed then the new modified roadster is absolutely the one for them.

Based on a chassis built by Lotus and delivered to Tesla’s assembly plant, it’s no wonder the Roadster handles well–very well. With silky-smooth power delivered by an electric motor rated at 288 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, it gets going in a hurry as well–3.7 seconds to 60 mph. Unlike an exotic car, the Tesla seems to inspire goodwill among pedestrians and other motorists. Whether it’s because it’s electric, or because it looks, sounds and goes like something from outer space is unknown.

As incredible as it is, the Tesla has its drawbacks beyond the stiff ride. The interior looks good from afar, but for a $100,000 car, it could use some work. Exposed bolts and wiring are present in certain spots, and not in the industrial minimalist style that’s popular in modern architecture. The few storage spaces in the cabin are easily accessible, but poorly thought out. In city driving, the Tesla is quiet, comfortable and easy to maneuver.
