After receiving over whelming response on the GT Black edition that was launched in June at an Auto show in Australia, the Ford Australian division has decided to introduce a limited edition with green light. According to the company spokes person, they have thought of coming up something new, but the way they have received public support and their feedback on the model, the decision became much easier, it is as if the public spoke their mind and the company listened patiently. The result of which was the quick decision of going ahead with the production of this GT Black edition.

As the high performance Black Edition is inspired by the FPV’s GT edition in which the rear-wheel helps the Ford Falcon sedan to run in 5.0-liter supercharged Boss V8 delivering 449-horses (335kW) and 570Nm (420.4 lb-ft) of torque at the top speed.

The special modifications may been identified as the Silhouette black paintwork on the body superior with matt black stripe decals on the head, tail wing and both side of the body. The body of this new version will be also painted in black in addition to the body colour the model will have fog lamp bezels, the exhaust tips, and the new five-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels made in gloss black with black wheel nuts.

Regarding the interior designing, the same color will continue, the interior will be facilitated with black leather trim allover, a special black finish around the Interior Command Centre (ICC) unit, tissue box and door spears, and a unique black gear shift badge on hand managed transmission edition.

After indepth research, the engineers have decided to revise the model by using upgraded features, like improved suspension and braking mechanism.

The price of the car is decided at $ 74,290 in Australia and ( $ 77,675 in US as per the present exchange rates ).
