Finally General Motors have allowed pricing for its new entry level brick model, the 2012 Verano Compact Sedan, before it will be available on sale. As per the company’s decision this new model will be available on sale sometime later this year in United States.

This new Verano will start at $ 23,470 and reach at a top price of $ 26,850. This price includes the $885 destination rate. The other technical detail of the model includes , the car will be facilitated with a 2.4L four cylinder engine which is connected to a six speed electronic transmission that can produce 180 HP at 6700 rpm with 171 lb-ft of torque at just 4900 rpm.

This all new Verano will be placed at a higher position than its sister car Chevrolet model, the Cruze. This Cruz is slightly lower priced and the base model starts at $17,470. According to the company spokes person, this new edition can perfectly offer more space for lavish seating arrangement and also for cargo carrying. He claimed that this model is bigger than the Acura TSX sedan or Lexus IS 250. To top it all, this model is available with a heated steering wheel option, which is not found in any other vehicles of similar category.

Regarding the basic features includes the lavish passenger seating arrangement. The leather seats, a 7-inch sloping LED backlit color-touch radio system with new age IntelliLink tools, 10 air bags, electronic climate control system, remote on-off, power windows and steering wheel radio controls.

The higher range model includes a number of additional features apart from the basic ones, such as the leather accessories, seat heaters that automatically activates when the temperature falls below 45 F (7 C) when using the remote to start the engine, and button push start mechanism to activate start moving the car.
