2012 Nissan Juke in Europe 11 Nissan launches 2012 Juke with enhanced fuel Economy for European street

Team Nissan has a thirst for improving its models. They have always known for great models with power and performance that no other cars can match in the market. The record sale of their recently introduced 2012 Juke model last year confirms their fan following. And today they have come up with the facelift edition of the Juke small crossover model. This new model has been upgraded with some special technicalities to suite the European roads. Thus the mew model supports better performance by consuming less fuel than the earlier version.

According to the engineers of the Japanese automakers, both the 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre dCi diesel drive-trains are enhanced with fresh optimization programme that includes modified gear parts specially suited for the models with manual transmission.

Thus due to these technical modifications, now the 1.6-litre petrol model can return upto 47.1mpg UK (equal to 39.2mpg US or 6.0 lt/100km) when run on the joined cycle. And it can further produce 2.3mpg, while emitting 139g/km of CO2, which is more 8g/km than its earlier edition

For the clients who all will now opt for the upgraded version that runs on 1.5-litre dCi diesel, will experience a fuel economy leap from 55.4mpg UK to 57.6mpg UK (47.9mpg US or 4.9 lt/100km) the combined cycle, and emission fall from 134g/km to just 129g/km. Thus they will save the diesel.

Now with the new revised edition, the company has decided not to change the price for the European roads since they have had a record sale of this model last year. In Europe they almost sold about 22,000 Jukes last year after its launch.

Therefore, for the time being the company has not talked about any price modification. Rather they are only talking about the features and enhancements that have supported such high quality fuel economy.
