The Volvo concept You that was recently launched in a video in ‘the Concept Universe’, has shown us exactly how much the brains behind Volvo have kept in mind what the average person needs. The photos and videos of the car has had already stormed into the world of cars in the internet. The Volvo makers are quite pleased with themselves to say the least.

Stefan Jacoby,President and CEO of the Volvo Car Corporation says that the concept you shows one quite clearly what to expect from the next generation sedan that would be launched in the market. It is going to be the perfect mixture of intuitive technology, contemporary Scandinavian design, and exquisite craftsmanship would attract buyers from all over the world to get a piece of this luxury car.

The amazing exterior has been kept at par with the equally breathtaking interiors of the car. The driver is able to keep command of his car with the help of a small touch pad. Since the Volvo has been designed keeping in mind some of the best people who would want to indulge in its luxury, the makers have made sure that the car, despite being wonderful, doesn’t interfere with the environment.

The center console of this wonderful car has mainly four places: a digital Driver Information Monitor, a head-up displaying on the windscreen, a touch-screen in the upper part of the center console (that would just be in sleep mode until the driver looks at it), and another sensor would be registering hand movements and does the needful.

Certain functions, which include web surfing, can be only accessed from the passenger’s seat. That is certainly a good thing because no one would want the driver to be distracted. The driver is however able to swap information with the passengers if and when he wants.

It is painted in a liquid metal paint, and the concept was inspired by Georg Jensen.
