This model of Shogun (also known as Pajero and Montero in other markets) can be found with an updated Euro V complaint turbo diesel engine. The choice of the model is between a three door short-wheel base or a five door long-wheel base body styles.

The makeover of the car features a redesigned front grille with slotted bars, and thick chrome dividers on both sides. There’s also a color-keyed front bumper, a black front skid plate and not to mention roof rails. There is also a plus new 18-inch multispoke alloy wheels.

Mitsubishi has said that this 2012 Shogun has a higher quality material for both cloth and leather upholsteries, with a new illumination for instruments, and coupled with brushed silver finish for power window panels, all on the inside.

There’s a new system installed with has the new brake override. This means if the driver accidentally hits both the brake and the accelerator at the same time, only the brake is going to work.

To add more, the SG3 and SG4 trim levels gain auto lights, auto wipers and privacy glass as standard for the 2012MY, while the SG4 would also get a color coded spare wheel cover as standard.

Prices for the 2012 Shogun range from £29,499 for the entry level SG2 and rise to £40,999 for the flagship SG4 model in Britain. So if you plan to get this car for yourself, you better begin saving up.

Mitsubishi had only released a single picture of the Shogun, and therefore such a scarcity of pictures you would find online. Just give it a few more days, and the internet would be flooded with pictures of the new Shogun.
