Nissan could not wait till the Motor Show to be held in Tokyo to share the good news of a new concept version of Juke crossover which is prepared by Nismo. In contrast to the radical Juke-R project featuring the inner work of the GT-R, the new concept is a very down-to-earth work for a practical sporty alternative of the standard model. According to Andy Palmer, the executive Vice President of Nissan group, the great success of the earlier model has proved that people are looking for something very different and the new concept have taken the idea to a different level.

Juke’s 1.6L directly injected gasoline engine has been modified to provide more performance and power, though any specific numbers are not yet disclosed. The four cylinder engine in the standard JDM trim produces 190 horses. It further proceeded to the chase that was lowered and hardened by using parts of the same kind available in the catalogue of Nismo. The improvements made are attached with 19 inch multispoke alloy wheel with wide tyres. Other features include a modified front bumper and grill, wide fenders, a new roof spoiler, side skirts, a variety of mirrors, a rear bumper and twin chrome drain pipes. The entire look is complete with a white paint and red highlights.

Moving towards the interior, the only known facts are the cabin has been modified using several sporty touches including the pedals, the steering wheel, shifter knob, gauges, door knobs and bucket seats. Other details are not yet disclosed. For more details we have to wait till the new model launches in the market. We have to wait to see what it has in store for its future.
