tvr website 628 TVR modifies... kinda

The eccentric British sportscar has a new website with a logo that refers back to the company’s original in 1954. This is just the first step of the grand plan that Nikolai Smolenski, the company’s owner has in his mind. According to PistonHeads.com, TVR will redesign one of the company’s used models and source it to us. The engine will be swapped to a General Motors LS3 with a five speed transmission and the interior will be well polished. It is to prove that there is nothing that a small block cannot fix. Furthermore, TVR would be happy providing equal treatment to the TVR owners’ vehicle. The cost of such a modification is not yet decided but it is not expected to be cheap.

As per TVR blog, plans are going on for a Tuscan 4 which is supposed to be a roadster. It’s quite possible that the new model will make its debut in the Geneva Motor show to be held in 2012. The details of this have not been released but for more information one has to visit the TVR website. Now we have to wait for the plan to come to life and see what it has for its future.
