It was on the 7th of November that Volvo has introduced the Polestar performance program in the US and yet the Swedish automaker has expanded its offerings including the 2011-12 XC60, XC70 and S60 models which are fitted with a T6 engine. The latest model T6 Polestar ECU increases its power from 300HP to an amount of 325 HP and peak torque from 324lb-ft to 354lb-ft. However, as Volvo says the increment in power does not affect the fuel consumption in the car.

Just after the announcement of the performance of the select T5 models, it has received marvellous feedback from its customers. According to Chris Daurer, the latest model is able to deliver to the performance minded customers the improved driving package that they have been looking for so long. The new model is priced at US$ 1,495 installed and would be available for booking all over from December 5th. The Polestar performance package is available on most of the newest models which are fitted with T5 and T6 engines. The latest models include XC60 T6 R-design, C70 T5, C30 T5 and S40 T5.
