Since 25th of February 1899, Renault has never failed to take the world by surprise. The French automaker has so far brought to the world brilliant vans and auto rails, never seems to get a wink of sleep, since they are always busy bringing even newer varieties of automobiles. Renault’s alliance with Nissan places it in at the 3rd rank in the world and gets it the crown of being the world’s largest automakers.

Hardly the news of the Tokyo Motor Show has died, that we hear of another motor show. The Bologna Motor Show is all set to show off newer varieties of cars. Of these one is the facelift version of the 2012 Renault Laguna Coupe.

The minor workings through this latest version can barely be spotted by the naked eye. However, the main change which greets us is around the headlights. The company has gone for the enhancing the illumination blocks with LED daytime running lights.

The Laguna Coupe is also going to sport newly designed 18 inch alloy wheels, and the equipments of the car have been upgraded. These have also been found to feature in the standard and optional features of the car.

The fuel consumption of the car has had some changes brought about it as well. Under the hood, the 150 HP 2.0 liter dCi unit is going to be fed more fuel, through the addition of the new ESM system (Energy Smart Management), that will lower consumption and emissions to 4.8 liters per 100 Km and 125 grammes of CO2 per Km.

The ongoing model is going to be providing the base for the rest of the engine, as no other changes have been spotted in the newly upgraded version of the car.
