Although the Kizashi sedan has not been a runaway success for the Japanese company yet Suzuki is trying to enter new markets in order to expand its reach. Suzuki has also added Britain to the list of countries where the Kizashi will be available very soon. The sedan will enter the UK market next month and will go on sale with a petrol engine which is priced at £21,995. As the diesel option is not present it limits the hope of the company for considerable sale numbers, with the plan to bring out only 500 cars in 2012. This mid size sedan is powered by a 2.4 L four cylinder engine that runs on petrol and gives an output of 178 PS at 6000 rpm and 230Nm torque at 4000 rpm with consumption of 34.0 mpg UK.

It is for the UK market that the four cylinder engine is attached to a CVT which is popularly known as Continuously Variable Transmission and the latest all-wheel-drive system that can work in two wheel drive mode, wherein the drive is mainly to the wheels at the front with a minimum of torque transmitted to the back wheels. The new model is available in one trim level including a standard Sports package which includes host of internal and external modifications like the bespoke front fascia with chrome, lower body chrome trims, sill extensions and 18 inch alloy wheels along with a sport steering wheel, contrast stitches for leather seats and parking brake boot.

other features in it include seven airbags, MP3/WMA CD tuner with eight speakers, electric airbags, automatic air conditioning, keyless entry, start and folding door mirrors. The only option available for the UK market is the touch screen satellite navigation system. So let us wait to know more on this.
