2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid1 Toyota developing a new turbocharged engine

It is reported that a turbocharged engine of four cylinder is being developed with direct injection by Gazoo Racing and Toyota. As per the Detroit Bureau, the automaker has concentrated on making small displacement engines rather than developing hybrid. The fuel efficiency offered will not be same as hybrids while turbocharged engine will be cheap and will also offer more performance image. The publication also reports that an aggressive program is going on and numerous small and mid sized models can adopt the newly made engine. Nothing has been reported officially, however, speculations suggest that it may make its debut in 2013 on JDM Crown. The engine would be offered to the Camry and the Corolla of the next generation.

We are still unsure as to what this decision will lead up to. They should move forward in their decision and in the same time, Toyota should not also give up their hybrid development program totally. Let us wait to see what comes next and hope that this will be good for the future. We wish luck and best wishes for the future and hope that all will be well in future. All the best!!!
