It is less than a year after Ford has shown the B Max study in the Geneva Salon, the Blue Oval revealed the final production model of the new entry in the European MPV segment. The official presentation is set to take place again in the Geneva Motor Show, the upcoming March. This transition from the concept model to the production did not bring any vital change in the design of the Fiesta based model, but something that was expected is the model of last year was more showcar than the pure concept.

It is from the one single photo that is released we can see the production B Max has lost the chrome grille trim and has gained a set of door handles. The new model features sliding back doors with pillar integrated in the doors which offers a wide open access for the driver, passenger as well as for luggage. The small MPV that competes against the likes of Opel Meriva will be among the first Ford models that are offered with the new 1.0 liter three cylinder EcoBoost turbocharged gasoline engine which is available in two states of tune with 123 and 99HP. This new model is to go on sale in Europe in the later half of 2012.
