2012 Irmscher Opel Insignia ST Cross4 Concept 2012 Irmscher Opel Insignia ST Cross4 Concept study confirmed for Geneva

Irmscher, the German tuning company has revealed the details and images of the Opel Insignia ST Cross4 design well ahead of the Motor Show that is to be held in Geneva in the upcoming March. The images leaked imply that the new model targets the VW’s Passat alltrack cross variant and Audi’s A4 allroad. However, officially sanctioned as Opel tuner, it is not clear, if it is representing Insignia ST Cross4 as a potential upgrade package after sales or something that can be launched as a factory trim package.

It is regarded as a design study with the individual parts being available for order, but then the Cross4 is representative of all-wheel-drive nature. So if this package is just available on all wheel drive models, which was reported in the photos that were leaked, then it would be a factory trim package. Whatever it is, this package is equipped with a contrasting gray coloured body kit consisting of faux front and back slide plates in the bumper, side skirts and wheel opening moldings. In addition to it, there is a honeycomb grille, headlight eyebrow covers, roof spoiler that is integrated and stainless steel muffler which is quad tipped. Along with these come newly designed light alloy wheels Turbo Star and Silver Star Silver Evo of 8.5 x 20. Body lowering springs of 30 mm and braking system of four piston sports are also available.

Other details on this are yet to come and till then we have to be satisfied with what has come our way. Let us keep patience and wait for what is to come next. Till all other features are disclosed we have keep guessing and have to have a patient wait. We hope this will do well and will come out successfully among its customers.
