The limited production of the 2012 Mazda MX-5 Miata Special Edition will be unveiled officially by the Japanese automaker in the Chicago Auto Show today. This new model will be equipped with new goodies like contrasting black retractable hard top and gunmetal wheels of 17 inch. It is the first time in the history of the vehicle that the MX-5 is available with non-matching hard top. Only 450 units will be produced and each one will carry leather heated seats of black colour with contrasted stitching with piano black trim panels in indoors. While in the exterior, customers can make a choice between two colours Crystal White Pearl and Velocity Red.

A six speed manual transmission model is priced at $31,225 while the automatic one is priced at $31,675. That cash will enable one to get a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine which gives an output of 158 hp while pushing a vehicle of 2593 pound and all the good things that comes with Grand Touring trim.
