Ford Europe has declared the beginning of the production of the Fiesta ECOnetic that which delivers improved efficiency. Being announced as the most fuel efficient and the lowest emission of CO2 ever, this new car is powered by a Duratorq TDCi diesel engine of 1.6 litre and which produces 95 HP and a torque of 205 Nm achieving 3.3 L/100 km and 87g/km of CO2 emission. Ford has said that as the demand increases for fuel efficiency, half of their sales in Europe will be ECOnetic equipped models towards the end of 2012 and will rise to two thirds in 2013.

This technology will be equipped with Auto Start Stop, Eco mode, Smart Regenerative Charging, special engine calibration, shift indicator light, optimised gear ratio, undershield and wheel deflectors, low suspension and low rolling resistance tires. The new model will be available in three door and five door form and also in various trim levels depending on the market conditions. Other details on this are still under wraps but will soon be available. We have to wait a bit further to get more information on this. So for more news we have to have a patient wait.
