Although each and every Jaguar XK model represents a combination of cosseting luxury and advanced engineering, the latest one that is the XK Artisan SE models enhance the quality of luxury furthermore and it is due to the introduction of the handmade Artisan interiors. The special edition which is available in both Convertible and Coupe form introduces instrument binnacle, back and door quarter casings, scraffito finished leather in the seats at the front. Combining with the Poltrona Frau headlinings in leather, two new surfaces – Dark figured aluminium and shadow walnut which are equipped with standard features including Bowers and Wilkins sound system of 525W, 16 by 16 way heated performance seats which are adjustable, heated steering wheel, keyless start or entry promises a high level of comfort and luxury.

To complement the use of these materials, the design team of Jaguar headed by Ian Callum, Director of Design has specified two exclusive Artisan colours of the interior for the models of Special Edition- Truffle with Canvas headlining and navy with Jet headline. Hood colours in the convertible are also selected very carefully which include Blue, Black, Brown and Grey. The treadplates and the stainless steel pedals add to the enhancements. An exterior palette of three colours includes Celestial Black, Rhodium Silver and Polaris White while an alloy wheel of 20 inch completes the changes in the exterior. Both the convertible and the coupe form benefits from the engineering techniques inherent to the Jaguar XK range. In the use of aluminium technology, Jaguar is leading. Both the models are light weight and will feature exceptional rigidity and strength. In combination with the variable adaptable damping a 5.0 l direct injection V8 engine of petrol in 385 PS aspirated form, the consequence is précised handling, controlled ride and effortless performance as and when required.
