The Ford B MAX unveiled at the Geneva Motor show is equipped with a combination of unique design, economy that is unrivalled and is among the advanced small car technology in Europe. Its easy access door system allows unobstructed entry as well as exit along with hinged doors at the front and sliding back doors integrating the body pillars at the centre. It also achieves class leading fuel economy and the minimum emission of CO2 for both diesel and petrol engines. The innovative B-MAX is among the first European car to offer SYNC, which is Ford’s voice activated in car connectivity system which features Emergency Assistance and is designed to assist occupants to call the emergency services in case of crash. This is also the first vehicle in its segment which is to provide the added reassurance of Active City Stop system and is designed to help the motorists to avoid low speed collisions with slow moving traffic in front.

According to the chairman and CEO, Stephen Odell, the new car proves a challenge to the traditional small car thinking and pioneers a concept which is not attempted by any other manufacturer. The design of this model opens the door, quite literally to exciting ideas about the possibility of a compact vehicle. He further added that the new car is more than just a versatile and smart car. The latest technology of Ford means that the B-MAX is just fun to drive and offers safety and achieves class leading fuel economy.
