The name Roding first became popular in Frankfurt 2010 where the German firm had made the presentation of the Roadster model in mule form. And from then on the mule and the full body sample vehicles were seen through the spy shots. Now, in the Geneva Motor Show to be held next week, one will have the first images and other details of a teaser image that has been released previous week. The mid engine Roadster uniquely styled will be limited to 23 pieces and is equipped with a chassis of carbon fibre which allows the vehicle to weigh only 950 kg. This lightweight model in combination of a BMW in line turbo engine of 3.0 liter six cylinder which produces 320 HP and accelerates from 0 to 100km/hr in just 3.9 seconds while for 80 to 120 km/hr it takes 4.0 seconds. However, its lateral acceleration is far more impressive and figures 1.4 gm at 115km/hr. This is achieved consuming 8.2 liters fuel per 100 km.

The Roadster makes use of power transfer through a manual transmission of six speed which is attached with a Torsen limited slip down to the alloy wheels of 18 inch with 255/35 and 225/40 size Toyo Proxes R888 semi slick tires at the back and front respectively. With the back and front anti roll bars, the suspension is independent as well as adjustable in regard to compression or rebound, toe and camber, ride heights. Brakes in it include 4 and 2 piston callipers at the front and back with 328 mm brake discs all around. In the interior, it features two tone leather covered racing seats of Recaro along with safety belts of 4 point. There is also a multi media system of Alpine along with 6.1 inch touch screen and a lap timer with GPS data logger. This model will be available in only two colours, a double tone red and the other a carbon fiber exterior colour.
