Ferrari F12Spider Ferrari F12berlinetta Rendered as a Spider Model

After the unveiling of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta in the Motor Show at Geneva this week, rumours of the open top are inevitable. Fortunately enough, a glimpse of the model is given when E Milano has posted a rendering to WCF page on Facebook. The artist has taken the model rendering little further than just removing the roof. The back end has also received updates making the quickest Ferrari look much more powerful and aggressive. The standard model hits the scales at 1525 kg and is powered by a V12 engine of 6.2 liter and delivering an output of 740 HP and a torque of 690 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100kph in only 3.1 seconds and reaches 200 kph in 8.5 seconds. The open roof version will experience weight and the disadvantages of aerodynamics, so it can be expected to see times suffer by few tenths of a second on the spyder model. The 599 GTB Fiorano which preceded the new model took four years to release a variant with open roof. So taking into account this historical fact, one will have to wait until 2016 before the F12 Berlinetta Spyder could be seen in production.
