Mazda Motor Corp has to face more problems as it seems that it is not doing that well as expected by its management after they had broke free from the group of Ford in 2008. Nikkei, a Japanese business daily has reported that the company has decided to pull the plug on the commercial division in the second part of the decade due to the decline in domestic demand. While it will continue offering commercial vehicles, it will neither develop nor produce them. Instead of this Mazda will the Original Equipment Manufacturing business by rebadging the vehicles from the other brands. As per the Reuters, at present the Japanese automaker has OEM agreements with Nissan Motor Co for the commercial vans, Isuzu Motors Ltd for trucks and Suzuki Motor Corp for mini commercial vehicles.

Nikkei has reported that the company will report a group net loss of 100 billion yen for the financial year ending this month. Let us see what is the outcome of all this. For more details we have to be patient and wait a bit longer. Let us wait and see what more comes on this.
