The sports car lineup of Toyota has seen a rebirth with the launch of the GT 86, but a new report indicates that the company is to green light the highly anticipated successor of the Supra. As per Motor Trend, this model will ride on the same framework which underpinned the prototype of the GRMN MRS. More information on this are limited but as per the magazine report, it will be powered by a hybridised, mid-mounted V6 engine of 3.5 litre and two in-wheel electric motors. As reported, the petrol engine would power the wheels at the back and the electric motors will turn the front.

This setup would provide the car with an all wheel drive system and an output above 400hp. If everything goes on well, the production model would be launched by the end of 2015 and would range for less than $60,000. So let us wait for more details to come our way and be prepared to accept the changes made in it. We hope to get more details on this very soon. We hope that it will do well and will win the hearts of its customers. Let us see what happens next.
