If one has strolled around Nurburgring in the famous Ring Taxi of BMW and is looking for something with different flavour, one will be satisfied to know that Jaguar has introduced its own service. The very first Ring cab is featured on the recent long wheelbase XJ Supersport limo which is equipped with Speed and Sport pack options. Power in it comes from a supercharged V8 engine of 5.0 litre which is good for 503 hp and offers a maximum speed of 174 mph.

In the words of Frank Klaas, the Global Head of Communications for Jaguar Land Rover, they have been running a successful Nurburgring driving programme from Nordschleife for some time as it is the best place to show the dynamic abilities of the present Jaguar XJ, XK and XF models. He further added that among all these models, it is the XJ Supersport which surprises journalists with its speed as it is perceived to be a huge luxury car. The Nurburgring Taxi is finished in non-standard paint of matt grey. The British firm has substituted the standard leather trimmed cooled and heated seats with four race seats which are featured with four point harnesses for safety purpose.
