Spanish automobile company Tauro Sport Auto has launched their much awaited sports car the V8 Spider although they haven’t revealed much about their newest offering.

The car is based upon combination of the Saturn Sky, Opel GT and Daewoo G2X design and the bodywork looks heavily borrowed from the Fisker Karma and the Alfa Romeo C8. You may also find a slight resemblance with the Mercedes SLS and the Barchetta.

The interiors are plain with no added exciting features. The standard Alcantara trim for sports cars and a leather wrapped dash board and steering wheel is all this car has to offer.

The car is powered by a GM-sourced 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 434 hp and 432 lb-ft of torque (440 PS). The company has announced the offering of performance packages that will enhance the output from 440 PS to 480 PS, 530 PS or above 650 PS depending on the customer’s choice. It also has the standard six speed manual transmission gear box and an aluminum knob gear handle (for the manual version).

The company will limit production to only 30 units initially and it is expected to be priced at €100,000 (approximately $125,740) excluding taxes.
