Opel has made an official statement today about the release of the sophisticated diesel engine to tune up Astra. At a board meeting held within the company’s headquarters, the CEO of Opel has decided to install a 2.0 liter BiTurbo CDTI power-plant with the horsepower generating capacity being 195hp. The amount of torque is 294 pound feet.

New Astra model will be available in different shapes like the 5-door hatchback, GTC and Sport Tourer station wagon. The power-train which will be introduced to update the hatchback model runs at 140mph. This diesel based engine is the fastest car upgradation device in its segment. The fuel economy of the coupe is 4.9 liters / 100 km. In addition carbon emission rate of the coupe 129g per kilometer whereas the estate and hatchback car releases carbon 134 g/km. BiTurbo technology has been adopted by the company to modify the drive-train kit.

On the other hand, CDTI diesel engine has the excellent performance track record. One of the spokespersons of the company has confirmed the introduction of the innovative methods to update the drive train accessories. Dampers, an exhaust system, struts, and the carbon diffuser have been installed only after a compact upgradation. The three new models like hatchback, estate and coupe of Astra will convince the high profile class.
