The Ultimate Aero which ruled the roads is quickly coming to an end. SSC North America broadcasted the news that these cars’ productions are in the closing stages and therefore they intend to release a limited-run special edition. This supercar in one point in time was known as the one of the world’s fastest cars.

The motive behind this decision is that they plan to launch Tuatara that will set free a speed of 1350 hp.

The Ultimate Aero XT is powered by a massive bi-turbo, mid-engine V8 of 6.9 liter. It has a twin-intercooled engine which can draw off a remarkable 1300 hp. The car weighs 2,800 lbs and is capable of producing a peak torque of 1,004 lb-ft. A 7-speed gearbox consisting of paddle-shifters provides the entire horsepower to its rear wheels. It has the brakes, fuel and cooling system that will also be placed in the Tuatara model.

This four-wheeler is able to speed up to 62 mph in just 2.65 seconds and can acquire a top speed of 273 mph. The car has a weight distribution of 44/56 from its front to its back. The car has 19 X 9.5-inch alloy wheels which are fitted with rubber from Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. Other amenities include a backup camera, in opposition to speed bumps there are cab-controlled front air-lift and a navigation system.

Jarod Shelby who is the founder of the company revealed that they plan to produce only 5 units of this four-wheeler in its limited-run and also adds that they have it in mind to manufacture each car with an owner’s choice paint finish that they will not utilize in the future. He also assures that this car will stand-out against any other Ultimate Aero available in the market. The details regarding the price of this car are yet to be released.
