In the Paris Motor Show 2012, in the month of September, Toyota plans to reveal the new Auris with its diesel petrol and Hybrid editions. This vehicle will provide a better design, modified dynamics, and improved equipments and all this for a moderate price. With this car, Toyota continues its tradition of providing quality, long-lasting and reliable cars.

The car’s interior and exterior have gone through a thorough change and it has a distinct lower seating arrangement. The car has also been shortened in height by 55mm than its present model. The lower front end provides an aerodynamically balanced car and has a drag coefficient of Cd 0.28. The car has lower fuel consumption and can also be easily managed.

The car’s look is more edgy and sharper this time around. Its grille has been given a different look and its headlights have a pulled back appearance and LED lights meant for daytime.

At the back the Toyota will have a wider tail door and will incorporate an interaction between the concave and convex surfaces. The car has been given new bumpers given the car a powerful stance.

Also the car could be compact but has been smartly so. Therefore, the driving position has been improved, the rear legroom space has been given 20 mm of more space and 90 mm has been added to the cargo space.

The steering and suspension too has been changed to give it a more fun ride and good driving experience. Weight management has also been given importance. Usage of tensile steel, mostly in the upper portion of the car’s structure gives the car more stiffness by 10% and reduces the body weight by 40kg.

Toyota was the first to have offered three powertrains and the tradition continues with this model. Toyota Auris Hybrid to offer Hybrid Synergy Drive system. Within UK, this model will also offer 1.4 liter diesel, 1.33 and 1.6 liter petrol engines.
