New Dacia Sandero Stepway, along with the new Logan and Sandero were launched at the Paris motor show. The Sandero Stepway has been upgraded further to give it a more muscular look. It comes with a harmonoues, ‘all terrain’ attractive styling.

Exterior: The new feature of the Sandero Stepway is its improved ground clearance, which is 40 mm higher. The front and body features have been redesigned l, which now include front and rear skid plates, fog lamps, two-tone bumper, pronounced wheel arches, 16-inch Flexwheels rims, two-tone longitudinal roof bars, and exclusive Azurite blue paint.

Interior: The interior comes with upgraded stuff. It gets specially-embroidered upholstery and grey overstitching for a bolder look. The new dark-carbon or dual-tone dashboard provide a comprehensive and contemporary-style instrumentation, along with chrome-surrounded dials and latest-generation and eminently functional controls.

The air-vent surrounds, steering-wheel logo and gear-stick handle label are chrome-finished. The central fascia is highlighted by a color wheel trim embellisher that matches the door handles and the design strip on the steering wheel. The Aesthetic quality has been enhanced through the choice of materials and flusher fit.

New Sandero Stepway will now be available in two versions:

An entry-level model, for affordable access, and the fully-equipped model, which features the MEDIA NAV multimedia system, air conditioning, cruise control, speed limiter and rear parking sensors. It comes with the Dacia’s PlugandRadio multimedia solution that includes a wide screen and an MP3-compatible CD player with Bluetooth support, USB sockets and fascia jack, as well as controls mounted on the steering wheel. The MEDIA NAV system has a 7-inch touch screen display.

Engine specifications: It is offered only with the 0.9-liter engine and the 1.5-liter dCi with 90 hp. The gasoline version consumes 52.3 mpg UK (43.5 mpg US or 5.4 liters / 100 km) and has CO2 emissions of 125 g/km, while the diesel can return 68.9 mpg UK (57.3 mpg US or 4.1 liters / 100 km).
