Toyota has come up with plans to revamp for FJ Cruiser Trail Teams special version. The pictures have not been released officially. However, the company has declared the minor changes that they will be giving this model.

This model will now have a Cement Grey coloured exterior and will also feature black accents. The revised edition of the model will ride on alloy wheels (“Toyota Racing Development”) and is covered with “BF Goodrich All-Terrain” tyres.

In the interior of the vehicle, there will be Cement Grey coloured accents incorporated on the seats, doors and the steering wheels. There will be additional regular standard equipment such as a rear view cam and Toyota Racing Development sill plates. The vehicle will be equipped with audio system from JBL that will have 10 speakers, and an aluminium transfer/shift case knobs.

The other design changes that will be given to this model will be minor. However, engineers have put quite an emphasis on trying to make the car more capable. Shock absorbers from Bilstein have been installed, a locking differential for the rear of the vehicle and skid plates placed in the underbody.

Like the regular model, Trail Teams too is equipped with a V6 engine of the capacity of 4.0 litre. It generates a power of 260 HP and a torque of 367 Nm.
