Lexus’ new concept car will be showcased at the Paris Auto Show slated to be held on the September 27th. All the information and images of this concept car will be declared in advance, however that will not be before the September 17th.

It is sure that the vehicle is not going to be a copied version of the LF-LC performance hybrid which was showcased at the Detroit Auto Show, this year in January. There are rumours that the LF-LC is moving towards production with newest edition to be released at the Australian Motor Show to be held in Sydney this year.

Nothing has been divulged further, however it is expected that the concept could show a compact crossover of the entry-level (that may be built using the platform of the Toyota RAV-4) or the IS. This kind of a vehicle will have competition from the BMW X1, Audi Q3 and the Acura RDX.

Power is expected to be provided by the turbocharged engine comprising of four-cylinders which is expected to provide fuel economy and acceptable performance. For customers who want more fuel economy, a hybrid variant could also be in the pipeline.

Compact crossovers are the need of the day, mostly among extravagant manufacturers.
