The vehicle named Fiat Panda Trekking serves as a link between two versions namely, 4×2 and 4×4. This model adds front-wheel drive and “Traction+” equipment to the vehicles off-road appearance. Thus this car is the best choice for those buyers who prefer to use their vehicle on proper roads as well as on unsafe surfaces. This car also provides space and is also equally versatile like a SUV. It is also Fiat’s first five-door ‘City Utility Vehicle’ in this segment.

This model is available in three engine options. The 0.9 TwinAir Turbo that provides 85 HP, the Twin Air Turbo Natural Power that generates 80 HP and 1.3 MultiJet II that produces 75 HP. All these engines are connected to 5-speed manual transmission, which are advanced in terms of fuel consumption, it performance and also emission. This clearly indicates Fiat Automobile’s focus on the various environmental issues, through research and developing detailed solutions.

The main feature that separates 0.9 Twin Air Turbo and 1.3 MultiJet II is that they utilize “Traction+” as their regular traction control system. This helps in improving the handling of the vehicle on slippery and difficult terrain. This technology is combined with 175/65 R15 84T M+S tyres, which are the regular tyres for this car, and this is the perfect need for a car like Panda.

This five-door model is an original. The car has a small external size but surprisingly packs in a lot of space on the inside. There are also various seating adjustments that let the passengers adjust the compartment space according to their convenience. The driver’s seat’s height can be adjusted. Also the passenger seats at the rear can be folded down, that will provide the entire space of the passenger compartment (which is more than 2m) as a flat surface for baggage.
