The car maker Volkswagen AG unleashed their captivating range of cars to more than 300 journalists on the day before the Sao Paulo International Motor Show (2012).

Thomas Schmall, who is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Volkswagen Brazil unveiled along with the Brazilian superstar and national-level player Neymar, the latest VW Gol which is a two-door vehicle in its world premiere.

The Volkswagen Gol which has more than seven million produced units has been undoubtedly the best-selling car for the last 25 years in Brazil.

The car has a red metallic finish with the front and rear bumpers having the body colour. The car is equipped with a front air dam and a rear spoiler. The car has been fitted with dual halogen headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lights. These headlamps are also automatic.

The interior of the car has the rear and front carpeted with floor mats. The cargo area too is carpeted. There is a pollen air filter fitted on the inside. There is the air conditioning option which can be controlled manually and there are HVAC Ducts that are fitted in the rear of the car. The seats of the car have manually adjustable headrests and a centre armrest that can be folded. The seats are fitted with leather upholstery.

There is a trip odometer, tachometer in the monitor fitted in the panel at the front. There is cruise control, a digital clock, exterior temperature gauge and a tyre pressure monitor.

The multi-function remote operates the door lock/unlock and anti-theft. Key Fob helps the car provide a keyless entry. Passenger and driver airbags, 3-point seatbelts help provide safety to those travelling.

The car rides on 15-in alloy wheels. The car is equipped with a 2.5 liter capacity I5 engine that can be linked to a 5-speed manual transmission.
