The Japanese carmaker Nissan has the tendency to keep updating their GT-R every year. Nissan has been working on various upgrade schemes for quite some time. Now the latest details about the revamped 2014 model are surfacing. This constant evolution of this model is one of the goals and responsibility of the vehicle’s Chief Engineer Kazutoshi Mizuno.

According to the automaker, this 2014 model of the GT-R will be released on the 2nd of November and go in for sale in Japan only after two weeks. A few styling updates and a tweaked cabin with all-new trims are being expected. Modified light graphics with new wheel patterns, and revised bumpers are also some of the changes that are probable.

Under the hood of the car will feature a V6 3.8 litre dual turbocharged engine that will maintain its existing power output of 542 hp and a maximum torque of 632 Nm. This engine could be linked to a modified gearbox which may facilitate the car to accelerate from rest to a speed of 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds only.

Apart from being slightly faster than its previous self, the GT-R could also feature some new frame reinforcements and a modified suspension for a better ride experience.
