BMW has launched the special edition of the X1, in collaboration with ski manufacturer K2. The special edtion which goes on sale from November features the xline, an aluminum roof rails, a 460 roof box with the base support system, skiing and snowboard bags, all-weather floor mats and a set of K2 LTD Powder Ride skis.

The special edition is mounted on 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior consists of trim strips, which are made of dark copper. Other features include, door still strips, ambient lightning, fabric/leather upholstery and a sporty steering wheel. The special edition will be available in the X1 xDrive28i and the X1 xDrive35i versions.

Along with the special edition of the X1, BMW also announced a new concept. It called, the Concept K2 Powder Ride. It comes with a roof rack, along with speakers. The concept has taken inspiration from the K2-inspired graphics. It boasts of a extra ground clearance and special 19-inch wheels. The wheels are Ferric Grey with polished spokes. Other notable features are dark tinted windows, Ferric Grey trim for the front and rear sills and the side skirts, as well as matt black roof rails.
