The new 2013 Fusion hybrid Titanium model has been announced by Ford. The price of which starts at $32,995. The hybrid maintains almost the same qualities of the gasoline model.

The distinguishable feature of the new model is the hybrids superior fuel economy. It comes with new polished 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome exterior accent, upgraded leather upholstery inside, push-button start and fog lamps.

Other highlights of the interior include the MyFord Touch infotainment system, SYNC connectivity and a 12-speaker Sony audio system.

Engine: it has a turbocharged 2.0-liter drive train which delivers 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. The Fusion hybrid has a combined power of 188 hp from the 2.0-liter I-4 and electric motor combo, which returns EPA-rated fuel economy of 47/47 mpg city/highway. The vehicle can achieve a maximum speed of 62 mph on electric power alone, due to the lithium-ion battery pack. The battery is lighter and more powerful than the previous model’s.

The new hybrid Titanium model is thought to give competition to the Toyota’s Camry hybrid, which is available in up-level XLE spec, in addition to regular LE trim. However the Camry hybrid XLE, is priced at $28,295, much lower than the Titanium Hybrid.
