Texas –based tuner Hennessey Performance has decided to take on the SRT Viper and add a new dimension to the car.

Hennessey Performance is known for taking up sports cars and empowering them with more power. The company has just released the specifications for the new Venom 700R and the Venom 1000 Twin Turbo.

After purchasing a 2013 Viper or a Viper GTS which is priced at $97,395 and $120,395, respectively, you need to ship them to Texas for the upgrades. At their workshop, Hennessey will add the raw power and awesomeness to these cars, before delivering them to you in a week’s time.

The Viper based Venom 700R comes with a powerful 8.4 Liter V10 engine that generates an enormous power of 725 horsepower and a maximum torque of 695 pound-feet. This is an increase of 135 hp from the standard SRT Viper. It achieves this with the reworked cylinder heads and exhaust system.

The Venom 1000 Twin Turbo spews up more venom. It got two turbochargers, this car will give you a massive thrust of 1,120 horses and a maximum torque of 1,092 pound-feet torque. There’s no wonder that this makes the car zoom from 0-62 mph in 2.7 seconds. It achieves a maximum speed of 216 mph.

The changes are quite impressive. The cars come with the options of aero upgrades to racing equipment like a rollbar and five-point harnesses.

The prices of the Venom Viper models have yet not been released.
