Kia has unveiled basic introductory information about its latest offering- the 2013 Cadenza which is ‘K7’ in Korea.

Its last generation made an appearance in the year 2009. Its latest has been modified borrowing styling cues from the Quoris which is ‘K9’in Korea. The styling modifications are pretty minor but they give this sedan a fresh look. Now the refurbished model has a restructured hood, latest light clusters for the front and the back of the car, grille which is referred to as ‘tiger nose’, bumpers which have been revised, along with air vents placed in the front fenders.

The engine options will be the same. It will include a V6 engine of 3.5 liter capacity that will generate a horsepower of 290 HP or 216 kW and a peak torque of 249 lb-ft or 338 Newton metre. The engine can be connected with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The Cadenza 2013 can speed up from rest to a speed of 62 mph in 7.2 seconds. The car has a maximum speed of 143 mph.

This model will be the first to be obtainable at the US. The release date of this car has still not been confirmed by the carmaker.
