Hyundai Veloster’s second custom concept car ‘Alpine’ will also be revealed this year at the end of October along with the Veloster ‘Velocity’ at the SEMA Specialty Equipment Market Association.

Hyundai Veloster’s Alpine concept took shape from the combined effort of both ARK Performance and Korean automaker’s US division bringing in various modifications and changes in the direct-injected 1.6-liter engine to making it develop an output to 232 horsepower and peak torque to 240 lb – ft.

Few of the changes made to this veloster includes, the exhaust system, ARK oil cooler, a Nitrous Express Proton Kit, K&N intake system and BTRcc custom engine bay parts and tuning. Also change to style the car includes, new ARK / Adro body kit that includes redesigned bumpers, rear wing, fenders and side skirts, a new rally wing, 180 Customs headlights and taillights and custom pearl white paint created by Beyond Coachworks

The Alpine concept, though is not as zestful as the 400Hp Veloster “Velocity” Projectl

Is designed to suit the taste of those who enjoy mountain sports and for those who love to cut through the ice,
According to Ted Lee, the owner of ARK Performance, the ‘Alpine’ concept reflects the diverse versatile nature that was envisioned in the original Veloster concept. He says “This extreme sports coupe concept will appeal to winter sports enthusiasts who love to carve the snow as much as a twisty canyon road.”

The interior of the car is enhanced by using material like leather and WeatherTek that is durable during winter and in the wet environments.

Thus the car gives both comfort and speed at the same time during extreme winters.
