The all-new Fiat Panda 4×4, is simply the A section four-wheel drive version, which made its debut at the Paris Motor Show 2012.

Its predecessor first appeared 30 years back and was a bestseller. This latest offering is its third-generation and provides excellent off-road capabilities and is also compact in its design and architecture.

This car has a length of 368 cm, a width of 167 cm and a height of 160 cm. Fiat Centro Stile’s designers created from scratch a functional design, to which other details were added, to make a multifunctional compact SUV. The bumpers placed in the rear and the back, have aluminium colour inserts that indicate metallic shield under the car.

Unlike its predecessors, the tailpipes of this car seamlessly follow the car’s body’s lines and this ensures protection to the lower section of the vehicle. There are two new body colours that have been added to the current colour palette that are Toscana green which is a metallic colour and Sicilia orange which is a pastel shade.

A green façade fames the instrument panel and a large storage space inside the car. The cabin too has fabric seats which are available in three colour choices green, orange and beige. The different door panels too are fitted with eco-friendly leather inserts.

This car is fitted by a “Torque on demand” transmission technology with automatically controlled coupling and two differentials. The benefits of this technology are no maintenance and automatic operation.

There are two engine options that are provided with this car, that are 0.9 TwinAir Turbo that produces 85 HP and 1.3 MultiJet II diesel engine that generates 75 HP. Both these engines are equipped with Start/Stop features. The first engine choice provides 40% extra torque, and this when combined with 6-speed gearbox provides better performance. The diesel engine provides 30% more torque.
