2014 Acura MDX Prototype Acura 2014 MDX Prototype Revealed

Acura has announced that it is planning on previewing their latest production model for the American markets. The new MDX 2014 might be released a little ahead of its debut. It has been declared that the venue for this debut might be the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), which is going to be held in mid- January in Detroit.

Acura has announced that this new MDX is going to be the 2014 model, so it is speculated that the production model will be released by the end of 2013. The prototypes offered by Acura are usually quite close to the actual production model, and the MDX has promised a design model that is significantly different from the company’s usual designs.

It is believed that the basic model of the car will be using the same Earth Dreams V6 as was used in the 2013 Acura. There might also be an all- drive system, such as the one that is found in the RLX Sedan. The prototype is going to utilize the “aero- sculpture” design language, which would significantly improve the function of the car and would also change the form. The car is expected to have some changes in the proportions, with additional arching body lines.
