Hyundai unveiled the Veloster C3 Roll Top as a concept car in the Los Angeles Auto Show 2012. This is a car that combines some really smart design with basic urban styles. The car now combines the benefits and characteristics of a tailgate and a coupe. The roll top is certainly one of the quirkiest aspects of the design.

The concept car is a convertible 3 door. It has sculpted side skirts, a hexagonal front grille, intake manifold sound that is quite robust, larger exhaust pipes for better flow, 18 inch wheels that come with chrome inserts, individual headlight LED accents.

An unique aspect of the car is the fact that it stays true to its urban theme. It is quite a sustainable car because the Hyundai Veloster C3 Roll Top is supposed to put in a lot of repurposed materials into use. These materials have been added to aid the design of the car and also to promote the character. The car also comes with a red- black interior! The roll top has an eye-catching red colour, which certainly makes a huge statement. The practicality of the roll top is combines with aesthetics, for the red of the roll top would match the red and black interiors, taillights and rear reflectors as well.

The car is available in a four cylinder, tubocharged 1.6 liter GDI engine. This car can produce around 201 horsepower at an rpm of 6,000. It can also produce over 195 lb of torque from an rpm of 1750- 4500. All of this- just with plain fuel!

The 1.6 Gamma engine comes with a twin- scroll turbocharger engine which will certainly enhance the power of the car when it is combined with the GDI system. This is a dual natured concept car that will certainly find a lot of use in all kinds of roads.
